My husband and I, along with three adult daughters and their husbands enjoyed a hiking trip in Vermont. Our first stop was the gorgeous Crisanver House. The pictures on their website were absolutely beautiful. I must say, it was even better in person. We were fortunate enough to visit during mid to late September when the leaves were starting to turn color. We awoke each morning to the most stunning view from the Saltash and Shrewsbury cottage. Our other family members stayed in the main house in the Herrick Room and the Marcy Suite, which they also thoroughly enjoyed.
Carol and her team provided us with exceptional stay! The food was amazing and the rooms were well appointed! One night Carol even got a fire going for us in the pit and accommodated early and late departures. Everyone was very friendly and the views and property were gorgeous!
Breakfast in the beautiful conservatory the next morning was delicious and bravo to the locally sourced and organic ingredients served. The seasonal snow made the view of the Green Mountains even that much more inspiring. Thank you, Carol, for the fun conversation!

The breakfasts were always great, the staff very accommodating, and the owners, Michael and Carol were extremely kind and welcoming.
Crisanver House is the perfect place for a get-a-way. It is quiet, peaceful, lovely and spotless. The grounds are magnificent. The pool is beautiful, there is a great tennis court. There are gardens to roam about in, wild blackberries to pick and lots of butterflies and birds to watch.
We greatly enjoyed our one night stay at Crisanver House. It was a snowy evening when we arrived at the Inn and we were warmly welcomed by Carol and Andrea. Our room in one of the cottages was warm and comfortable.
We only found this by searching google, but very happy we stumbled upon it. It was beautiful, peaceful and relaxing. The breakfast was also very good. we didn't have any dinner, but a couple other guest told us how wonderful it was. I will plan on having one next time we go.
